Export Skills Program | Global Vic

April 29, 2022 - June 23, 2022

Export Skills 2022 is part of the Victorian Government’s $15.7 million Export Recovery Package (ERP) and aims to help Victorian businesses impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19) to grow and develop their export skills and capabilities.

The program is essential training for Victorian business owners embarking upon their export journey, considering taking part in one of our trade mission or eCommerce programs, or keen to grow their export capability and remain globally competitive.

Program modules

Delivered in partnership with the Global Trade Professional Alliance (GTPA), Export Skills 2022 offers training across 5 modules;

MARKETING MASTERCLASS

focuses on assisting businesses to develop and implement a successful marketing strategy, which then underpins business development activities and a sales strategy. The module will include practical information and real-world examples and case studies.

STANDARDS & CERTIFICATION

will guide participants through the process of certification under a selection of key international standards. The world of standards is a complex and multi-layered one and businesses are often left bewildered by the sheer number of standards bodies and individual standards that may be applicable to them, as well as the often times complicated and costly process of compliance. This module aims to demystify standards and provide easy-to-access information on those most applicable to specific industry sectors.

CYBERSECURITY READINESS

is designed to be clear and accessible to Victorian businesses, regardless of size, technical expertise, and industry sector. It is focused on creating a culture of cyber readiness within each participating organisation.

ADVANCED ECOMMERCE

will provide knowledge at an advanced level, utilising subject matter experts and specialists giving real-world examples and practical information. All content will be formulated at an advanced level.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS RULES

is aimed at providing practical snapshots of doing business in a selection of markets, including information on setting up a business in those markets.
