We’re running a no-cost workshop for Gippsland entrepreneurs, startup founders and business owners about the different capital raising options available.

There are a number of ways that you can access capital, including grants, investment, banks, and much more. Learn how to pitch your business, manage risk, and raise the funds required to help you expand and transform your business!

Join Kate Wallis as she covers everything you need to know about identifying potential business risks, who you can approach to access capital and how you should frame the benefits your business offers when pitching to potential funders.

Over the course of 2 hours, you will learn:

• Pitching your business
• Alternative ways to access investors, philanthropy, grants and banks
• Impact investing and intermediaries

About the Startup Masterclass Series:

The Startup Masterclass Series is a collaboration between Startup Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley Authority.

Running between November 2021 and June 2022, a series of workshops will be hosted across Gippsland to support founders and startups within the region with the tools and insights they need to help their businesses improve efficiency and find continued success.

Each workshop will focus on a specialised business topic, and will set out to empower local founders to push through any barriers and fill knowledge gaps that may be holding them back from getting to where they want to go.

Each Startup Masterclass Series workshop will be provided at no-cost to participants.
